Since its founding in 1977, Steelmark has been able to build on the know-how of modern greenhouse technology that exists in Finland to develop solutions for our demanding Nordic conditions.

Examples of such solutions are our unique fastening profile for greenhouse film, and our self-developed lowering system for high-wire cucumber cultivation. The lowering system is in use in almost all year-round production greenhouses in Finland, and it has revolutionized production under artificial light.

Until the end of the 1990's, our core business was concentrated on the manufacturing of glass and plastic greenhouses. During the last 20 years, however, our product range has been continuously extended to include greenhouse supplies such as fertilizers, growing substrates and biological control products, as well as tailored greenhouse lighting solutions.

Today Steelmark can offer everything a professional greenhouse grower might need. We aim to have a large part of our products in stock, which leads to fast, reliable and flexible service for our customers. We also import most of our products directly from manufacturers, which means fewer intermediaries and a competitive price.

Since the autumn of 2020, the Steelmark Group consists of the companies Steelmark Invest Oy Ab, which offers greenhouses and technology solutions for greenhouses, and Oy Steelmark Ab, which supplies daily cultivation supplies. Steelmark is a second-generation family-run business. The company is owned by Magnus, Andreas and Jens Lundell.
